The Lean Promotion Office Facilitator will support the organizational transformation to a Lean management system through the independent facilitation of Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen (rapid improvement) Workshops. They will partner with managers and staff to identify and improve operational efficiencies by reducing variation and waste through the application of Lean concepts and methods. They will also serve as improvement coaches for staff and managers across the organization as they work through frontline A3 problem solving.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Certification, Registration, LicenseBachelor's DegreeField of Study: Engineering, Business or related field
Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years
Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a dedicated Lean role.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Credentials, Licenses: Bachelors in Engineering, Business, or related field
-Deep experience with Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Event Facilitation. Must have experience with structured three and five day models.
Signed off as a facilitator of one of the following core tools:- Value Stream Mapping
5S / Visual Management- Lean Daily Management / Visual Controls- Experience utilizing and teaching A3 Problem Solving
Ability to assess a target audience and determine appropriate styles of communication which will be effective (i.e. physicians, nursing staff, etc).- Software knowledge including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint required.- Highly capable with business computations, statistical data analysis and synthesis.- Must be highly structured and organized in approach to work
Must have demonstrable group facilitation and influencing skill
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience using other foundational tools such as S5 and standard work.
Experience with analytical tools such as fishbone diagrams, spaghetti charts, pareto analysis and other- Must be approachable, patient, and customer focused. Must maintain composure and perseverance in difficult settings
Kind and Length of Experience: -Five to ten years of overall professional work experience-Three to five years of experience in a dedicated Lean role
