Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for work related to the construction management of the City's construction projects from the design phase and implementation through inspection and project completion. Works under the general direction of the Assistant Director, Deputy Director or Director.
Knowledge of procedures, practices, methods, materials and equipment required to perform drainage construction projects, to include stormwater and drainage, traffic circles, fountains, parking lots, paving, road widenings, sidewalks and curbing work; knowledge of legal and departmental regulations relating to public works construction and contract requirement. Basic principles of civil engineering relating to public works construction.
Code compliance practices. Supervisory practices.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Administration, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
Five years experience in construction or related field.
A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum education required.
Valid Florida Driver's License.
