Summary

The Sr Configuration Developer will be responsible for leading the configuration and customization of software systems and ensuring alignment with our business processes

What You'll Do

• Configuration and Customization Leadership:Mentor and collaborate with a team of configuration developers in collaboration with business stakeholders to understand and document software configuration requirements. Oversee the development of technical specifications and ensure their successful implementation.

• Software Integration:Work closely with the IT team to integrate software with existing systems and databases. Ensure seamless data exchange, compatibility, and alignment with business processes.

• Testing and Quality Assurance:Establish and monitor quality standards for software configurations and customizations. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and lead the testing efforts to verify reliability and performance.

• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Ensure the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for software configuration, customizations, and changes. Promote knowledge sharing within the team and the organization.

• User Training and Support:Provide training and support efforts to ensure end-users can effectively utilize configured software. Address and resolve complex user issues and questions in a timely and professional manner.

• Security and Compliance Oversight:Maintain a strong focus on data security and compliance. Ensure that software configurations adhere to relevant industry and company-specific regulations.

• Technical Troubleshooting Leadership:Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to software configurations promptly. Offer advanced technical expertise and support to end-users and colleagues.

• Vendor Collaboration and Management:Work with software vendors and service providers to understand and leverage software capabilities to their fullest potential. Lead discussions with vendors and evaluate third-party software solutions.

• Performance Optimization Strategy:Continuously monitor and analyze software performance and lead efforts to optimize and enhance software functionality, scalability, and performance.

Who You Are

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience as a Configuration Developer and in a leadership role.

• Proficiency in software/product configuration and customization.

• Advanced knowledge of database management, scripting languages, and system integration.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to promote a sense of unity within the team to achieve excellence, together.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
