Job Description Summary

This Senior Compliance Analyst role leads assigned Corporate Compliance governance functions necessary to ensure regulatory compliance, sound compliance risk management and oversight at the enterprise level for the laws and regulations covered by the Bank's Enterprise Consumer Privacy Program.

Essential Job Functions

  • Works with Corporate Compliance Privacy Office subject matter experts, legal, and business unit controls and governance teams to coordinate and monitor enterprise alignment to Privacy Office policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Manages Privacy Office governance schedules and complex approval requirements, and controls workflow and timelines.

  • Assists the Privacy Officer and other Privacy Office team members in the coordination, execution, and analysis of core Privacy Program responsibilities.

  • Plans, manages and conducts projects related to the development and improvement of Privacy Office processes and reporting. Manages delivery by others, and executes own deliverables for projects in assigned areas.

  • Assists with coordination and monitoring of implementation of new or amended regulatory developments and coordinates integration of resulting new requirements into governance and policies.

  • Develops, executes and seeks opportunities to improve process efficiencies for Privacy Office workflow.

  • Oversees the maintenance of databases and spreadsheets through data entry and file uploads, and performs verifications for completeness and accuracy.

  • Coordinates and supports the Privacy Office in regulatory examinations and internal audits.

  • Cross-trains and provides backup to critical functions of Privacy Office teammates.

  • Extracts, filters and aggregates data; may use logical queries and basic programming. Constructs and produces data metrics, statistics and analyses.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of training or experience.

  • Required
  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.

  • Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.

  • Experience managing and controlling complex inter-departmental workflow to produce deliverables within required and quality standards.

  • Internal audit, compliance, or risk management process improvement, project management and or/banking background desirable.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills.

  • A reliable team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others both on the Privacy Office team and across the organization.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail, quality, and timelines.

  • Highly organized, flexible and adaptable, and able to manage multiple activities and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Word.
