Sr Compensation Specialist

As part of the Honeywell Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Center of Excellence (COE), and reporting to the Senior Director Compensation & Benefits, Safety & Productivity Solutions (SPS), this role is responsible for providing expert C&B consulting, analytical, and project support for Intelligrated, the fastest-growing business in the Honeywell portfolio, and the SPS Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization.

The position will be based at our Intelligrated headquarter in Mason.

Compensation & Rewards Management

  • Provide compensation guidance, consulting, analytical, and project support to a defined client group, incl. offer definition and compensation decisions

  • Facilitate the consistent application and communication of the company's pay philosophy, compensation tools and all C&B processes across assigned population, ensuring clarity and understanding of pay strategies by HR, managers and employees

  • Support HR Generalists by providing subject matter expertise on C&B issues; on-going coaching of HR Generalists on compensation-related topics and best practice

  • Make recommendations to efficiently enhance the organization's ability to attract, motivate and retain key talent

  • Conduct periodic audits to review and confirm compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and reasonableness of pay practices. Make recommendations and amends practices as appropriate

  • Collaborate with HR on projects requiring C&B expertise and/or support

Compensation Planning

  • Coordinate annual planning processes for a specific population ensuring that plans reflect appropriate differentiation of rewards to performance, equity and market competitiveness

  • Train and support clients in use of compensation planning tools such as GCP to facilitate effective compensation planning that differentiates rewards based on performance

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in HR, Finance or related Business Field
  • 2+ years of experience in a compensation role
  • 1+ year of incentive compensation experience


  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and manage data

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Able to work effectively across multiple functions and regions with diverse needs and requirements

  • Excellent organization and execution skills with ability to support several projects simultaneously

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Business partner mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to align global compensation policy with specific business requirements
