Introduction

iRobot is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to join our team, reporting to the Director of Total Rewards. This position plays strategic role in the design, development, and administration of iRobot's compensation structures, including annual base salary, incentive, and equity programs. The role will partner globally with HR Business Partners, HR Management, and the business in providing advice and guidance in all areas of compensation. This is a significant and challenging role that is responsible for developing and implementing global compensation strategies, fostering best practices, and driving operational excellence.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner closely with the director of total rewards on the global compensation strategy and design of iRobot's compensation programs

  • Lead the global annual compensation planning process in Workday, including merit, bonus, & equity programs, including reporting out on the outcomes of the programs.

  • Partner closely with HR Business Partner team on advising, influencing, and educating on all compensation related matters, strategies, and solutions.

  • Strategic advisor to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and HR leadership regarding market dynamics, trends and implications for compensation programs and strategies.

  • Lead salary survey benchmarking, marketing pricing and analysis to support the businesses in remaining competitive in the labor market

  • Partner closely with the HR Technology team to ensure that Workday, and other compensation related systems are set up appropriately, maintained and are consistently reflective of updated information.

  • Lead the ongoing maintenance and creation of Job Families, Job Profiles and Compensation Grade Profiles within Workday, including providing guidance to HR and the business.

  • Partner closely with our talent acquisition team in supporting our recruiting efforts, which will include providing guidance and support on offers to candidates.

  • Lead compensation activities related to organization initiatives such as organizational changes, talent strategy changes, and job evaluations.

  • Conduct internal and external data analysis to review and update guidance and policies including merit budgets, merit matrix, guidance on promotional increases and guidance on market adjustments.

  • Develop insights to analyze effectiveness of our compensation programs, and recommend strategic solutions to support total rewards strategy

  • Perform statistical/data analysis (inclusive of data modeling) that supports various HR & Compensation related topics.

  • Interface with finance, accounting, payroll, stock administration and legal organizations on matters regarding global equity plans, iRobot's proxy, executive compensation, Board of Director meetings and requests, including but not limited to share usage modeling, data gathering and analysis for iRobot's proxy, and oversite of iRobot's ESPP program.

  • Performs ad hoc analysis related to executive compensation programs

  • Ensures compliance of compensation regulatory requirements including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and pay equity laws.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • A bachelor's degree is required, with 10+ years of previous compensation experience, with prior leadership and supervisory experience in leading and mentoring compensation professionals

  • CCP and/or PHR/SPHR certification preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills; modeling, & pivot tables. Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data. Experience in PowerPoint

  • Excellent business acumen, strong strategic planning and analytical skills

  • Extensive knowledge of HRIS (preferably Workday) in defining compensation requirements and running tool functionality for compensation processes

  • Experience working with global equity plans, that include RSUs, PSUs, & ESPP plans

  • Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate complex information in narrative and visual form that is easily understood

  • Strong ability to balance strategic and operational tasks with strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to manage risk and ambiguity, define scope, and manage multiple priorities and internal client expectations to meet objectives.

  • International compensation experience a plus

  • Mergers and Acquisition experience a plus
