Sr. Compensation and Benefits Analyst

Director, Compensation and Benefits
The Job
The Sr. Compensation and Benefits Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Director, Compensation and Benefits with overseeing, managing and administering Core Scientific compensation and benefits programs. This role will participate in compensation surveys and conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness.
Responsibilities
Analyze, design, and administer employer compensation programs and benefit programs.
Assist the Compensation & Benefits Manager with implementing a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organizational objectives.
Support the Finance team with budgets and financial analysis of all compensation, equity, and benefit plans.
Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications.
Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks.
Conduct periodic audits, prepare and present reports.
Support the administration of the Company's benefits, including 401k, healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD etc.
Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other regulations.
Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field required.
4 years of compensation and benefits experience required.
Experience with quantitative and qualitative research required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification, are preferred.

This role is remote and based in the United States.
Travel
This position may require minimal travel.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
Physical Demands
Able to meet physical requirements of the job, such as lifting and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds, with equipment if necessary.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
