We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Compensation Analyst. The Sr Compensation Analyst will develop and implement compensation programs, pay levels and incentive packages for our organization. This role works to determine salary requirements and perform regular market surveys / job analysis to determine if compensation programs are up to date and competitive. Compensation programs include base salary, bonus and equity incentives as components to employee's total compensation package.
The salary target for this role is $115,000 - $125,000/year + bonus opportunity.
We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. Primary Job Functions
Develop & design compensation programs for job categories in the company
Develop a program reflective of the company
Prepare job descriptions and map to compensation ranges
Research pay levels to update existing compensation ranges
Ensure compensation plans are in alignment with labor legislation
Recommend improvements to compensation plans and pay levels
Maintain the bonus plan program by role / level
Develop & design the Corporate Bonus Programs to reflect market and company goals
Manage the bonus programs in Workday / Excel
Establish data structure for ongoing modeling and reporting
Implement compensation & bonus programs within the company
Set up programs and analytics in Workday and PayFactors
Analyze compensation data to identify potential issues and ensure equitability
Educate and train managers on how to have compensation conversations
Work with HR to determine / recommend individual compensation plans
Liaise with Equity Management to understand equity/equity incentive components of total compensation
Understand the equity/equity incentive programs as it relates to total compensation; partner with Equity Management to establish recommendations for programs' participation
Analyze and provide feedback as appropriate; establish data structure for ongoing modeling and reporting
Consult with internal management and external resources to benchmark plans to market
Work with internal management to consult on new positions, department compensation analyses, or other compensation-related questions
Work with external firms to map roles; assist with analysis as needed
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; business, finance, economics or related
7+ years' experience as a compensation analyst / consultant
Knowledge of market statistics and salary scales, payroll procedures, labor legislation, and pay rate research
Experience with complex compensation structures; and bonus and equity incentive programs
Excellent documentation skills when developing comp grids; ranges and analysis
Proven communication skills when working with leaders at all levels
Excels in developing analytical presentations that drive action; proven PPT, Excel and related software experience
Familiarity with Workday, PayFactors or other online compensation systems
