Compensation Analyst: Performs staff support activities to develop, implement and administer compensation policies and programs.

Audits jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements. Develops and/or participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices.

Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems. Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment. Formulates recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.

Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action. May prepare special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock options. May include administration of domestic and/or international programs.

Minimum Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years related compensation experience, including, but not limited to the following areas: sales compensation, equity programs, incentive plan design and administration

Bachelor's Degree

Certification as Compensation Professional (CCP) is strongly preferred

Strong MS Office PowerPoint and Word

Advanced MS Excel skills in financial Modeling

Strong mathematical acuity to understand appropriate calculations to use and spot discrepancies in data and logic, and for setting up plan costing models

Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and analyze problems in depth and determine subtle relationships among data from various sources

Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making; demonstrating consistent logic, rationality, and objectivity

Must demonstrate creative abilities to generate new approaches to problems and innovative solutions

Must possess conceptual ability to deal effectively with abstract conceptual matters, not just tangible issues

Demonstrates initiative and sense of urgency in finding ways to resourcefully overcome challenges and re-stimulate projects

Plans, organizes, schedules in an efficient and productive manner focusing on key priorities

Ability to juggle multiple projects

Highly effective oral communication skills in one to one, in small groups, and in "public-speaking" situations

Highly effective written communication

Possesses utmost integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

The Commercial Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for developing relationships and partnering with a diverse group of global commercial business partners to understand, develop and articulate the business needs of the Clinical Diagnostics Division. In addition, this role is required to partner with other Business Analysts within the organization, in a Community of Practice model, to foster collaboration, share best practices, create Business Analyst standards and identify opportunities for information/knowledge sharing. Driving and managing projects across multiple functions and businesses.
