This role creates and delivers a compelling compensation value proposition for our employees and candidates alike, linking all programs to our vision and accelerated growth. You will play a key role, providing analytic support in the design, development and implementation of business group specific and global compensation practices and programs.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Lead the market analysis process and recommend changes to the salary structure and equity programs.

  • Use quantitative and qualitative analysis identify problems, develop hypotheses and recommend solutions to compensation programs and processes.

  • Support the business groups in modeling of business specific variable pay design.

  • Play a key role in the execution of semi-annual bonus program and pay planning cycles.

  • Support and provide proactive guidance to monitor and maintain our competitive positioning, balancing internal equity and external competitiveness.

  • Partner closely with the recruiting organization in the analysis of offers to ensure sound, compelling and attractive offers are extended to secure the necessary talent to scale us to our projected growth in this challenging market.

  • Monitor external trends and recommend required changes to ensure compliance with global pay regulations.

  • Work with HR systems team to implement and test systems changes.

  • Support the development of compelling compensation trainings.

  • Partner with cross functional teams to develop dashboards and analytic models to provide business insights and interpret market or internal trends.

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • BS Degree plus 5+ years of compensation experience, preferably in a large multi-national company in the high technology sector.

  • The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind, an organized work style, a keen eye for numbers and patterns, and the ability to work both strategically and tactically to carry out successful changes and programs.

  • Expert knowledge of compensation salary planning, incentive programs, equity plans, market pricing and analytics.

  • A working knowledge and awareness of labor laws related to pay.

  • Solid project management experience.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Workday experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Compensation & Benefits Analyst plays a critical role within the Human Resources department by providing analytical support for the design, implementation, and administration of our salary, bonus, equity, and benefits programs. The Human Resources department is a highly collaborative group that encourages team members to continually expand their roles and develop their skills. Reporting to the Manager of Benefits, but working closely with the Manager of Compensation, Sr. Director of Total Rewards, Business Partners, and others throughout the company, the Compensation & Benefits Analyst will perform market evaluations, complete cost/benefits analyses, and educate our managers and employees on our Total Rewards programs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Analyze job content and market data to ensure the competitiveness of our compensation levels and programs. * Conduct competitive research and analyses of our and our markets' benefit programs. * Complete input to our market surveys. * Perform competitive research and analyses to unlock insights and drive sound decision-making on HR issues. * Educate managers and employees on our rewards programs and philosophy. * Coach managers and employees on our compensation and benefits programs and practices. * Develop career paths and ladders and determine appropriate values. * Administer compensation and benefit modules within Workday. * Assist with the administration of Worker's Compensation Program. * Assist with bi-weekly audits of Payroll deductions for retroactive employee contributions. * Assist with bi-weekly audits of unopened HSA accounts. * Manage the 401(k) auto-enrollment process for new hires. * Calculate the amount due for quarterly employer HSA contributions. * Respond to Qualified Medical Support Orders issued to eHealth. * Additional assignments as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * BA or BS degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field. * 5+ years of direct, relevant experience in compensation and/or benefits analysis, administration, design, and/or consulting. * Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and Excel skills. * Comfort working with diverse groups of internal clients, including employees and managers at all levels. * Solid communication and presentation skills. * Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and HRIS (Workday experience strongly preferred). * High-level of integrity along with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. * Ability to multi-task and adjust to rapidly changing priorities. * Ability to quickly grasp company operations and business drivers. * Highest standards of accuracy and precision. eHealth is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
