Sr. Commission Analyst

Omnicell is seeking to fill a Sr. Commission Analyst in our Headquarters in Mt. View, CA. This role will report to the Manager, Global Commission Operations, and be a member of the team responsible for administering the end to end compensation process for the global sales organization. This process includes calculating, processing, analyzing and reporting sales compensation. The Sr. Commission Analyst will be required to work with our compensation system, analyze transactions and trends, calculate and support payments and accruals, train new sales hires on the use of our sales incentive system, and field compensation queries from the sales force. This position will also need to partner cross-functionally with the Sales, Sales Operations, HR, Finance, Accounting, external auditors, and Payroll on all elements regarding the compensation process.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer complex sales compensation plans, ensuring commission and bonus calculations are set up correctly in the automated commission system and completed in a timely manner.

  • Monthly/quarterly calculation and accurate payment of incentive compensation for our field sales organization.

  • Perform activities needed for the implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, and plans.

  • Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness.

  • Perform reconciliations and resolves issues.

  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc compensation reports and management reporting.

  • Assist in the development and preparation of annual sales compensation plans.

  • Prepare and update commission expense forecasts.

  • Prepare all required audit documentation and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.

  • Contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data.

  • Drive, question and improve the commission process to ensure accurate and timely commission calculations and payouts.

  • Work with internal/external auditors on an ongoing basis for SOX commission process and testing.

  • Coordinate training for new and existing sales reps on our sales compensation management system.

  • Partner and collaborate across functional areas (Sales, Finance, IT)

  • Research compensation issues, disputes, appeals and provide high quality, timely responses to sales and management, and communicate complex logic and analysis in a manner easily understood.

  • High degree of focus for our internal customers

  • Ensure all deadlines are met, including payroll, month-end and quarter-end requirements

  • Maintain the confidentiality of compensation information and respect privacy laws

  • Respond timely to various data requests of internal and external users, including financial audit & SOX controls

  • Analyze and interpret complex data

  • Ensure compliance with SOX for compensation documents, processes, programs and policy requirements

Required Knowledge and

Skills:
  • Knowledge of day-to-day operations and solid understanding of the sales experience and variable compensation models

  • Knowledge of SOX as it relates to compliance with the regulations.

  • Time management skills

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer focused, collaborative approach, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree

  • 4 years of variable compensation calculation experience in a corporate environment, including administration of sales compensation plans and commission calculations and reconciliations in an automated system environment

  • Experience with Sales Commission tools (i.e. Varicent ICM, Xactly, etc.)

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • Experience with SalesForce.com and IBM Incentive Compensation Management system

The SA will maintain focus on monitoring, incident response, security awareness training, vulnerability management and other security and/or compliance related tasks. Responsibilities: * Responsible for threat monitoring, incident investigation and response. * Collaborates with adjacent IT teams in securing and monitoring network & server infrastructures, applications, filtering appliances, firewalls and cloud-based services. * Analyzes security log and event data. * Identifies, implements and administers technologies and solutions that improve the security posture of Omnicell. * Contributes to the development of security standards, access controls, and compliance requirements of applications, network infrastructure, servers, and workstations. * Serves as a subject matter expert regarding security best practices. * Maintains awareness of current and emerging threat landscape. * Compiles security & compliance metrics. * Documents and escalates security incidents within specified/assigned systems to ensure timely follow-up and tracking. * Trains staff in security awareness and procedures.
