Job Summary:

  • Builds, deploys, and manages innovative risk solutions for Treasury Management commercial payment products to ensure that products are profitable, marketable, and of the highest quality. Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring the risk associated with treasury activities. Sets strategies to identify and mitigate transactional risk through policy oversight, procedures, data, and industry governance. Ensures the treasury and payment staff are provided with up to date information related to products and their applications. Provides guidance and support to less experienced team members

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and maintains risk for existing commercial payment products.

  • Develops and implements new or updated products working in tandem with internal and external partners.

  • Serves as subject matter expert on the industry, competitors and products.

  • Develops, prioritizes, and tracks the roadmap for risk and product initiatives.

  • Coordinates with sales, operations, production, support units and other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of risk reporting for all commercial payment products.

  • Identifies key challenges and risks for all commercial payment products.

  • Works with cross-functional teams to establish and drive the risk product roadmap.

  • Provides training for team, operational partners, and customer support team.

  • Serves as the liaison to the footprint for product risk knowledge and implementation of new banking relationships.

  • Participates in promotional conferences, tradeshows, expos and other related forums pertaining to risk.

  • Reviews and enhances reporting by optimizing data from various internal and external sources.

  • May orient, train or review the work of Product Risk Analysts.

  • Develops strategies, tools, and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report risks.

  • Coordinates work, acts as a contact during audit or exam processes, and develop strategies for any corrections required.

  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

The CSM develops and maintains positive relationships with commercial customers by managing the acquisition and delivery of products, providing ongoing customer service, and maintaining expert knowledge on parts and inventory. The CSM exceeds customer's expectation by delivering WOW! Customer Service to all AZ Commercial accounts by Living the Pledge everyday. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully maintaining and developing commercial sales. Develop new accounts through face to face and telephone contact with potential customers * Act as the primary contact for commercial customers; Actively maintain open lines of communication between AutoZone and commercial customers * Ensure efficient delivery of products by planning delivery routes and managing drivers. Ensures appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each delivery * Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers by maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and industry; Conduct research to guarantee the customer is offered the 'right part for the right price' * Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts; processes returns and reconciles accounts * Visits commercial accounts and ensures accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised. Contribute to the AutoZone 'one-team' environment by assisting customers and AutoZoners with various aspects of the business * Build and maintain strong relationship with management team. Assists with training and developing drivers, commercial specialist, and other AutoZoners as directed by the SM or DM * Maintains a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners are implementing those practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) * Follows proper accident and claim procedures. Complies with safe driving rules and procedures and ensures all Commercial Zoners have approved driver status * Properly maintains vehicle(s) and takes the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues. REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required * Effective leader with excellent communication skills, strong decision making abilities, and excellent selling skills * Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise * Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings and weekend shifts Autozone, Inc.
