We are looking for a Collaboration Engineer with a strong track record of designing solutions that enable people to collaborate and solve problems quickly and spontaneously. The ideal candidate would have comprehensive knowledge and deployment experience of Cisco Unified Communications products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure Cisco Unified Communications products including Unified Communications Manager, Unity, Presence and Call Center Express

  • Install and configure voice gateways as part of the IP telephony system

  • Install and configure LAN switches, and basic networking components

  • Troubleshoot integrated technology issues and maintain an accurate issues list

  • Provide systems administration training to clients

  • Learn to understand the customer environment (technical and political) and when to escalation to the Senior Collaboration Engineer or Manager if appropriate

  • Work with Presidio Account Managers to identify new opportunities within your projects.

  • Participate in the modification and continual improvement of the both the professional services project documentation and the project implementation processes

  • Assist support technicians in troubleshooting client installation

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Previous consultant experience desired.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects.

  • Excellent communications and documentation skills.

  • Self-motivated and desire to succeed and develop.

  • CCNA and/or CCNP Collaboration is desired, or equivalent knowledge.

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

  • This position requires Mid/Senior level experience with implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting in the following applications:

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)

  • Cisco Unity Connection (CUC)

  • Cisco IM and Presence (Jabber)

  • Basic understanding of Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX)

  • Cisco Emergency Responder (CER)

  • Any other associated UC/Collaboration applications, basic understanding of Expressway/Collaboration Edge

  • Basic knowledge of VMWare hypervisor desired.

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and ability to install and troubleshoot LANs and WANs.

  • Experience designing collaboration solutions given client requirements and goals.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

Physical Demand & Working Environment

While performing the duties of this position, individuals may be required to stand for extended periods of time using handheld equipment and power tools. This position also requires the ability to spend time walking, standing, and touring medical and other facilities. May lift and carry up to 50lbs. May encounter frequent climbing of stairs and ladders.
