Job Description Summary

OneSource Virtual is seeking an experienced Cloud architect/ Engineer with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to join our IT Infrastructure team to meet the needs of a growing organization. The Cloud Architect / Engineer will work closely with other technology groups to provide 24x7 support and availability for OSV's technology infrastructure. As a valued member of the innovative and collaborative OSV technology team, the Cloud Architect / Engineer will:

• Play an important role in supporting our hybrid-cloud transformation.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for relevant AWS and Azure products and other responsibilities.

• Support growing business requirements utilizing public cloud services

• IaaS

• Optimize efficiency using scripting, templates, and automation.

• Implement industry and security best practices when deploying solutions.

• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environment, including resource provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and vulnerability remediation.

• Actively monitor systems and services, providing an incident escalation response.

• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.

• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

• Provide strategy and guidance for AWS and MS Azure governance & security.

• Keep up to date with industry knowledge of relevant technologies.

• Serve as a mentor to less experienced IT colleagues.

• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Document current and proposed cloud architectural changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of overall related experience as a cloud engineer in an enterprise environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Experience in the various AWS and Azure services, analytics, and storage options.

• Experience in AWS and Azure Functions and Serverless Architecture.

• Experience in managing AWS and Azure VM infrastructures (lifecycle process).

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune

• Good understanding of identity and access management / Conditional access.

• Experience implementing industry best practices.

• Good initiative, time management, and organizational skills.

• Good written and spoken communication skills.

• Ability to document technical configurations and processes.

• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a diverse, international team.

• Experience building HA, scalable, resilient systems in the cloud.

• Good understanding of networking principles as it applies to cloud infrastructure

• Microsoft Windows Server System and Active Directory Domain Services
