A Day in the Life
The Sr Clinical Education Specialist is responsible for the execution of customer and sales training initiatives. The position will also have responsibility in the implementation of Lung Health products and programs for targeted customers. The position will provide clinical/technical education and expert consultation to facilitate broad adoption of Medtronic ILS products and procedures.
Provide clinical/technical instruction on Lung Health procedures and devices for physician, facility staff and sales training programs.
Provide advanced clinical/technical case support for customers as needed to support learning needs.
Maintain technical/clinical expertise on Lung Health products and applications to support a diverse group of internal customers (i.e.; sales, marketing, clinical research, research and development, etc.), and external customers (Physicians, facility staff, vendors, etc.).
Partner with the team in the execution of customer implementation plans and processes.
Participate in the development of training program content and materials in conjunction with other internal and external product and technical experts to meet the needs of customers (global sales organization, physicians and facility staff).
Participate in off-site training related events and meetings as assigned.
Participate in KOL (faculty) development programs as assigned.
Assist the Education team as a course facilitator / presenter as required for various training programs and events
Develop educational tools/materials in conjunction with the Education team for use by customers
Maintain awareness of medical and scientific literature to maintain expertise of current issues relevant to Lung Health products
Attend Company meetings / professional conferences / tradeshows as required
Responsible for the preparation of equipment, materials and supplies for Customer & Sales Education programs.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
2 years of experience providing clinical support in Endoscopy, Operating Room or Special Procedures area
2 years of clinical education and training experience
Remote-based position; must travel (minimum of 75%)
