Senior Client Support Specialist

The Senior Client Support Specialist's primary role is to take lead in providing timely and effective support to the business community regarding daily operations while managing and supporting the IT Ticket System. This includes, but is not limited to, desktop support, application support, network access, ordering equipment and supplies, printing, and training. Their secondary role is to assist with OCE Projects and Initiatives following our IT Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, monitoring, deploying, and updating desktop hardware/software.

  • Using, managing, and supporting the IT Ticket System.

  • Investigating and resolving infrastructure issues and escalated support requests.

  • Desktop and Printing performance optimization.

  • Provide software applications training.

  • Ordering equipment and supplies.

  • Assist in ordering, deploying, managing, and supporting mobile solutions.

  • Assist in maintaining the local area networks.

  • Assist in providing backup and recovery operations.

  • Assist in supporting telecommunications operations.

  • Create and update documentation.

  • Stay current on IT trends and news.

  • Training the business community on applications and IT best practices

Required Competencies/Skills (not listed in order of importance):

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred or relevant of four (4) years equivalent experience required.

  • At least seven (7) years of IT experience.

  • Knowledge of AD, Windows OS (Windows 10 & 11), Desktop hardware (HP, Microsoft), iOS, Apple iPhone & iPad, basic networking, printing, MS Office, Outlook, Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Skype for Business, Teams, Citrix XenApp, Endpoint Security.

  • Knowledge of Intune administration, Managing AD & EntraID, Building Master Images, Intermediate networking, Intermediate with Office Suite,

  • Domestic travel required.

  • Ability to provide 24 hours per day and 7 days a week coverage.

Compensation:

The minimum and maximum annual salary that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $64,000 to $71,000 annually.
