Protect the fiduciary interests of the Corporation through prompt investigation and administrative handling of personal injury and property damage claims brought by passengers, employees and others.


  • Thoroughly investigates liability and damage aspects of accidents/incidents involving reports of personal injury and property damage.

  • Establishes appropriate liability accruals/reserves and assures the claims database is accurate and current.

  • Contacts claimants promptly, provides assistance, and monitors medical treatment.

  • Evaluates claims and lawsuits with respect to liability and damages to determine corporate exposure.

  • Accomplishes the fair and equitable disposition of claims and lawsuits by negotiating settlements with claimants and opposing counsel.

  • Assists outside counsel in prosecution/defense of lawsuits filed by and against Amtrak.

  • Maintains liaison with other departments to ensure effective communication and complete cooperation on claims related matters.


  • Experience in investigation and/or personal injury claims

  • Ability to pass required training, including AMT II and RWP training and Claims School.


  • Railroad claims investigation and negotiation experience.


Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The FireEye Threat Prevention Platform provides real-time, dynamic threat protection without the use of signatures to protect an organization across the primary threat vectors and across the different stages of an attack life cycle. The core of the FireEye platform is a virtual execution engine, complemented by dynamic threat intelligence, to identify and block cyber attacks in real time. FireEye has over 3,100 customers across 67 countries, including over 200 of the Fortune 500. The Role: The objective of the Channel Account Manager is to be responsible for managing all Channel Sales aspects of the company's business within an assigned Territory. The primary focus is on Public Sector Channel sales development, and the proper "care and feeding" to help supplement existing FireEye Sales and SE staff. Responsibilities: * Managing existing and the growth of new prospective Distribution, Channel, System Integration and Consultants that will allow better market and vertical sales/support coverage * Help train partners to qualify target accounts and opportunities that will lead to successful POC(Proof of Concept) evaluation. * Directly report to the Regional Manager * Lead facilitator for communication between partners and FireEye * Help facilitate resources from FireEye Region and FireEye Corporate for partners. * Validation that FireEye partners are meeting the training, certification and support requirements to stay competitive with quality of service to the end-users. * Facilitate product and sales training to partners field sales/SE staff * Drive product marketing, and demand generation activities with partners to accompany FireEye products/solutions on partner's website, seminars and tradeshows * Proactively communicate with FireEye region staff on Channel pipeline and forecasts * Develop and execute a comprehensive Channel business plan for the region: to be reviewed on a quarterly basis by the Region Manager * Monitor, assess and report on a continual basis, the security vendor competitive situation within the channel partners in the region. Requirements: * MBA or technical graduate degree preferred. * 10 years and above of techno-sales experience with Channel Partners in the computer networking & security space. * Outstanding Presentation, Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
