What You'll Do

  • Be an advocate and amplifier for the CMO's marketing vision, strategy and agenda across Slalom. Play a leading role in turning the global marketing strategy and plan into executable actions.

  • Own end-to-end strategic projects that cut across marketing (and even other functions), and often have a transformational impact.

  • Be a core member of the senior leadership team, including being a thought partner and advisor to the team members.

  • Be a guide, mentor and advisor to marketing team members. Help increase the "love of work" in the marketing team.

  • Innovate and find ways to increase impact of marketing at Slalom. Drive efficiency and improved results through exploring new technologies and processes.

  • Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, human resources, and technology teams to scope, manage and execute strategic projects.

  • Lead a variety of operational improvement initiatives including training and development, systems improvements, association relationships etc.

  • Oversee the marketing budget and financial planning process and track real-time progression and budget spend.

  • Manage the prep and execution of CMO and other senior executive meetings and presentations, including pre-meeting documents, briefings, points of view, and more.

  • Build, track and regularly analyze central reporting to make informed recommendations based on data insights to marketing leadership. Help define the key success metrics across the business and operations, down to campaign and activity programming.

  • Design and execute communications to amplify the marketing team's wins in order to build internal credibility and visibility.

  • Lead the SLT weekly meetings and regular offsites to ensure agenda and logistics are thoughtfully created and executed.

  • Executive-level presentation skills to build compelling and easy to interpret presentations. Present to and collaborate with senior executives and gain influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to succeed in a collaborative, fast paced environment, while remaining flexible and adjust on the fly to new demands.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $180,000 to $210,000. The actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
