Responsibilities:

• Manage the Global Qorvo spend on category specific foundry and achieve annual cost reduction goals.

• Maintain working knowledge of current and developing technologies.

• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to qualify alternative sources for assurance of supply.

• Measure supplier performance, conduct supplier business reviews and implement improvements.

• Measure spending and savings, set reduction goals and manage projects to achieve success.

• Maintain Category Strategy and present Category report-outs to leadership.

• Maintain Business Acumen to stay ahead of the industry curve.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree required in Supply Chain or Electrical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred

• 5+ years of experience as a category manager (supply chain, sourcing, project management or equivalent experience)

• Knowledge about semiconductor foundry and fab materials and silicon supply chain.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to clarify complex situations and gather consensus with internal and external audiences. Multitasking: the ability to manage numerous activities simultaneously and reprioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

• Background in (or work closely with) wafer manufacturing and Process Engineering

• Experience with SAP (Material Management module, PO, Material Master, etc.) and supplier contract administrator

• Self-Managed/Motivated: the ability to independently set priorities, meet commitments and the desire to seek valuable improvements.

• Prefer Lean working knowledge supported with certification
