The Senior Capture Manager for the Missile & Space (M&SD) Defense Product Line will lead and support the development of business growth by identifying, analyzing, developing and capturing new business opportunities ranging from $350M to $500M in bookings, and by providing analytical recommendations on management path. This role must understand customer capability gaps, determine the optimal solution space, and shape customer needs/requirements. There are three major product lines within M&SD - missile warning, missile defense and space protection, with multiple customers. This role is responsible for managing all key customer relationships and facilitating strong working ties between MS&D/ Space Systems programs, government communities and other Raytheon Business Units regarding system solutions and concepts. In this capacity the selected candidate will serve as the voice of the customer to program leadership, facilitate senior leadership/customer interactions and effectively message program concerns and constraints. This individual will drive effective partnership, and translate needed capabilities into programs of record and new business for M&SD. This role leads all phases of the capture from initial discussions to staffing and leading capture teams and leads small teams of specialized staff to develop win strategy options, conducts internal reviews, and prepare and deliver new business briefings.

Required Skills:

  • Current TS/SSBI

  • 12 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in all phases of business development from opportunity validation to capture

  • Knowledge/ understanding of national security space programs across Air Force, Missile Defense Agency, and classified customers.

  • Ability to translate mission needs into system solutions and provides advanced guidance for complex missions crossing multiple agencies.

  • Managing multi-disciplined matrixed teams

  • Managing budgets

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
