You'll utilize your power integrity analysis experience on both on-die and package/board levels.
You will develop/define & refine the methodologies and flows for package/board model extractions, chip/package PDN co-analysis, package Electro-Migration (EM) analysis. The areas will include but not limited functional static/dynamic/scan IR/IVD analysis, package extractions, package modeling, die modeling, powerEM, SigEM, power switch modeling, design abstract and reuse for EMIR purposes, package and die design sign-off, etc.
Typically requires 5+ years of experience in power integrity field in the following areas:- Implementation, analysis, and modeling of PDN structures, including 3DIC, interposer, TSV- Methodology for IP and full-chip level IVD analysis with package and board modelsIN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE IN INDUSTRY LEADING TOOLS, LIKE:- Allegro (include APD)- Redhawk, - Voltus, - XtractIM/XcitePI, - PowerSI, - HFSS, - Q3D- Hspice/Spectre- Proficient in programming using PERL/TCL/Shell/Python/C/C++ etc.Experience in any of the skills would be a plus:- EMIR and package tool validation and qualification- Flow regressions- Power analysis- Thermal analysis- Spice simulation at package level- Physical designs, extraction, and STA
Primary responsibilities include development of chip/package co-design solutions; revamping/rewriting and streamlining the IVD and package flow as well as assume ownership of entire flow. You will work closely will interact with various design groups (Physical design/integration/Package/Power/Technology/PowerIntegrity) on their EMIR requirements for various post layout flows.
You will also work closely with vendors/foundries for tool qualification and debug.You will go beyond the industry norm and demonstrate creativity in problem solving, ability to think dynamically and outside of standard convention, and adapt quickly to new technical areas. MSEE or BSEE Degree in technical discipline.
