The Sr. Buyer is responsible for handling the analysis and the decision making of the P&L decisions for multiple stores and responsible for the execution to plan.
Replenish inventory for assigned FleetPride and PDC locations through the use of the replenishment program within JDA.
Ensure that products are available and on hand by communicating with vendors and staff members at the various FleetPride and PDC locations.
Maintain electronic inventory records, which includes tabulating and recording data on inventory costs and supply levels to ensure accurate and cost efficient inventory of products.
Ensure orders have been shipped and received by monitoring vendor performance.
Maintain assigned vendor lines. Manage vendor files.
Contact vendors to determine the status of an order. Contact vendors with discrepancies in regards to quality and quantity and relay such information to the Purchasing Manager.
Copy data and documents and compile records and reports. Participate in annual inventory count.

Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions
The performance of this position may require exposure to the warehouse areas where certain areas may require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes and safety glasses. The primary environment is characterized by ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment found in a typical office environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a buyer position or related role.
Experience in production or stock buying capacity, replenishment buying experience preferred.
Previous JDA experience preferred
Must have strong E&O and Product Life Cycle Management experience.
Strategic level decision making experience as it applies to product management is essential.
