In this role, you will work on solving problems and identifying profitable growth in a user centric way through data & analytics is fundamental to our transformation:
Leverage understanding of the business and jointly work with internal and/or external decision science team to provide actionable insights for solving business problems or finding opportunities for profitable growth.
Identifying break through pet parent insights from our Petcare data ecosystem (Veterinary, Vet Hospitals, DNA Services, Telemetry, etc.) Leveraging the new & rapidly growing world of external data to get closer to the customer & consumers than ever before and unlocking efficiencies & automation in our priority focus areas.
Work and collaborate with the Global Analytics, Data & AI teams to solve problems in close collaboration with functional subject matter experts from the business.
Developing the strategy for the key products & services to be developed by our engineering function(s).
Ensure that expectations of both velocity and scope are managed, end to end, through the delivery process.
What are we looking for?
Overall, 10 years of experience; Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics
Minimum 2 years of Expertise in customer analytics, revenue management, marketing, supply chain OR manufacturing
Minimum 2 years of experience in Developing analytical models using multi variate regression and build machine learning algorithms using data science experience
Analyze large and complex data sources such as Amazon ARAP, Nielsen, SAP, etc.
Generate business insights for trade strategy implementation and price execution
Develop financial models for scenario planning and forecasting
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Consumer/Shopper Insights or related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the business, work with key business stakeholders to understand their challenges and formulate business problems
Ideate and build early perspectives on actionable insights to the problem and work with the decision science team to prove/ disprove the hypothesis, continuously iterating as new information and/or insights come to light
Help the decision science team with business context and provide necessary feedback during the analysis phase to ensure the outcomes deliver insights that are needed by the business
Have a strong understanding of the various statistical techniques, its application and translate the model outcomes into insights/ business terms
Ability to lead complex analytical exercises/projects and which lead to actionable direction within the marketplace
Skilled at building and managing relationships, including stakeholder management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
CPG and Retailer knowledge, including knowledge of, and experience using key external third-party data sources including, first-party data, and Associates surveys
Own the product roadmap
Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept deployment of a product
Identify and help FE/SME's understand the business question, use case and value proposition
Develop appropriate product specifications so they are clearly understood by the development teams
Member of the team
Work closely with the data team to ensure ecosystem strategy is maintained
