Sr. Business Systems Analyst-Sap (Contractor)

The Position

Please note there are multiple positions supporting a SAP S4HANA System Integration and would be dedicated to either (1) Quality Systems (1) Planning and Scheduling (2) MRO or (2) Warehouse and Distribution. These positions will be from 7/1/2024 to 4/30/2025 and you would be eligible to be considered for other full time opportunities with Genentech.

Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) is a drug product & finished goods manufacturing organization responsible for the reliable delivery of Roche's commercial portfolio & pipeline products. The facility produces millions of units of life-saving medicine every year to patients around the world.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S4HANA and OMP Deployment Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a specific focus on either (1) Quality Systems (2) Planning and Scheduling (3) MRO or (4) Warehouse and Distribution. In these role, you will play a crucial part in the user acceptance testing (UAT) process, participating in day in the life (dress rehearsal) simulations, and conducting assessments of role mapping and user access in SAP.

Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing global training materials to ensure they are comprehensive and effective. Your expertise will be vital in creating site-level work instructions that will support seamless operations at our various locations. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to provide end-user training and act as a change agent for the HTO site, fostering a smooth transition and ensuring that all stakeholders are well-equipped to embrace the changes brought about by the deployment of SAP S4HANA.

• You will participate in relevant solution tests (User Acceptance Testing (UAT) / Deployment End to End Testing (DET) for local interfaces and reports), prepare and execute Day in a life simulation (Dress Rehearsal)

• You will act as local change agents for a project to deploy SAP S4HANA to the local site.

• You will involve the respective SOP owner to update local SOPs where required.

• You will support role mapping and analysis of user access needs in SAP and partner system.

• You will use the results of the dress rehearsal simulation to finalize training documentation.

• You will attend Train the Trainer (TTT), coordinate and deliver local end-user training with Business and IT SMEs, and localize training materials.

• You will actively support local deployment project phases, especially transition, and go-live, and plan and track local close-down and ramp-up.

• Who you are:

• You have at least 1-2+ years of experience with SAP S4HANA

• You have at least 10+ years of SAP experience

• You have experience in performing formal user acceptance testing (UAT)

• A plus if you have Master Data experience

• You have technical writing skills (SOP, work instructions, etc.)

• You have experience delivering end-user training

• You have good customer service skills that emphasize the ability to interact with people of different backgrounds and skill levels.

• You will have a B.A. or B.S. degree (preferably in Life Science)

• You will have an excellent ability to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally, both verbally and in written form

• You can be flexible in problem-solving, providing direction and work hours to meet business objectives

The expected pay rate for this position based on the primary location for this position of Hillsboro, OR is $60/hour - $95/hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
