The partner funding team within the AWS Partner Network (APN) Delivery organization owns and delivers AWS funding offerings to our customers through packaged financial incentives and campaigns. The team implements and governs scalable investment programs to accelerate customer engagements and migrations to AWS and support our worldwide partner teams. The team is also responsible for tracking and measuring optimal allocation of AWS funding to drive business growth. We are looking for a Sr. Business Operations Product Manager to design and deliver comprehensive reporting on our migration funding and investment activities worldwide, as well as to track and measure goal attainment. This role will also conduct complex data-driven reviews to experiment and validate business hypothesis and deliver insights to support management decision making as we look to innovate on existing constructs.

The ideal candidate thinks analytically about business challenges and has experience in building financial models to support experimentation and decision making. He/she must be able to roll-up his/her sleeves, and work directly with very large datasets and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. He/she will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, highly analytical and have excellent problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and provision of internal reporting through the deployment of self-service reports and dashboards leveraging Tableau and other BI tools

  • Design and manage KPIs to measure, control and benchmark the effectiveness of the funding processes including creation of recurring metrics reports to drive improvements.

  • Analyze and investigate large data sets to identify trends, validate new business opportunities and improve program usage/effectiveness.

  • Produce executive ready reports for business review purposes with relevant sales and regional leaders on sales behavior and programs effectiveness.

  • Perform detailed business needs assessments in coordination with the Partner Leadership Team and Funding Operations to uncover gaps and roadblocks to funding programs.

  • 4+ years of sales, partner, and/or operations experience

  • Must be comfortable understanding partner business needs and proposing solutions to sales & partner team leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with adversity and rapidly changing operating conditions while still delivering to expectations

  • Track record of being detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects

  • Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action

  • Proven program, project, and performance management skills

  • Excellent communication, planning, presentation and organization skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, communications, or relevant field of study

  • Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, QuickSight

  • Proficient SQL skills, advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms

  • Entrepreneurial skills with experience scaling/developing new programs and concepts within organizations

  • Advanced SQL skills, proficient in R and/or Python, expert Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms

  • 10+ years of prior relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex data issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers.

  • Excellent communication, planning, presentation and organization skills

Bachelor's degree Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results for major cross organization process/programs, from design to execution. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities. Experience in multiple industry markets in growth-oriented roles such as strategy, planning, enablement, or equivalent roles at large enterprise technology companies Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
