Position Overview:

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll collaborate with various business units to understand their strategies, processes, and services, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance. Your role will be critical in providing in-depth business insights and advanced technical support, utilizing extensive data resources to develop ad hoc analyses, reports, and complex processes.

Pay Rate: $120,000 - 130,000

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Management:

• Gather, clean, and analyze data including revenue, sales, costs, margins, operational data, and market information.

• Develop and program tools and data models to enhance business understanding and monitoring.

• Identify data patterns indicating potential business improvements and collaborate with operations to develop actionable plans.

Business Intelligence Solutions:

• Collaborate with business leaders to create and manage BI solutions.

• Implement process and strategy improvements to streamline operations.

• Design and execute BI queries and establish recurring reports and dashboards.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collect and analyze technical needs from various business units for operational and analytics platforms.

• Validate analyses using alternate sources to ensure reliability.

• Research, interpret, and explain analytic findings to support decision-making.

Reporting and Strategic Support:

• Generate weekly and monthly reports.

• Support strategic and financial planning processes with detailed modeling and analysis.

• Coordinate with Software Development and IT to implement and maintain new models and data integrations.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.

• 10+ years in a progressive business analytics function.

• Understanding of accounting and financial statements.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL.

• Proficiency with multiple data sources and platforms.

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent analytical and forecasting skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
