Responsible for supporting a commercial department's needs for actionable data in a variety of output formats. Act as the conduit between department and leaders and technical personnel to reach their goals. Works from a servant leadership mindset with constant focus on what is needed to make others and ultimately the business more informed, efficient, and successful.
In this position you will:
Stays up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
Responsible for key commercial department's reporting and analytics globally to support the need of field staff to enable the evaluation of their assigned business and customer engagement, including data relating to: opportunity/scheduling management, forecasting, historical review, utilization, forward looking data strategy, territory alignment and performance analytics.
Work with IT to enable timely, complete and accurate reporting and analytics.
Build partnerships and resolve key business issues with cross-functional partners across marketing, market access, clinical, regulatory, finance, manufacturing, and sales. Collaborate with these cross-functional partners, including regional and affiliate colleagues, to ensure appropriate output and "pull" for analytics
Develop and automate, where possible, the generation and delivery of frequently used KPI reports.
Monitor metrics and report to senior management when issues are identified.
Provide assistance with technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and issue resolution
A BS or BA required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
At least 1-5 years of work with emphasis related to data (including marketing, finance, forecasting, market research, etc.)
1-5 years progressive experience in forecasting, strategic analysis, planning and analytics.
Global and/or international experience preferred.
Experience with OBIEE, VBA (Excel) or other programmatic skills preferred .
Ability to craft a compelling vision, and then carry it out in a well-developed strategy
Ability to develop a game plan for optimizing the BI platform by determining how best to use existing data analytics, architecture, and technology, and identifying where to make improvements
Ability to deliver results from insights that are gathered and analytical/problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunity and risks
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate the data and learning into actionable recommendations for business growth.
Skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
