Accountable for providing oversight of issues and risks within the Chief Technology Organization (CTO) for Line-of-Business Senior Executives portfolios by effectively implementing GT&Os governance routines, and requirements, using established tools and procedures.
Collaborate with the Line-of-Business Tech and process owners to manage risks that are essential to operational standards and compliance to applicable policies, laws and regulations including Audit Issues, Self-Identified Audit Issues, Compliance Identified Audit Issues, Regulatory Issues and Priority Initiatives.
Provide authoritative risk counsel, guidance and coaching to Tech associates on the management of Issues, policies, Standards, practices and procedures; the GTO Issues Management playbook; and usage of issues management systems and tools (eIMS, Issue Severity Guidance Grid, etc).
Perform QA on the portfolio to identify and address issues out of tolerance, issues at risk, and other indicators.
Partner with Examination Adherence team members to review issues, action plans, issues at risk and related go to green plans.
Lead and/or manage cross-functional operational risk programs and projects by driving communication and coordination across multiple divisions to ensure the timely completion of objectives and the seamless execution of plans, as requested by management.
Coordinate or collaborate on weekly and monthly meetings, reports and monitoring of various issues and risk management routines.
Other, including building a sustainable risk culture and risk management program, managing metrics and providing transparency, support the Identify, Escalate, Debate risk culture.
BA or BS (4 year degree)in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
7+ Years of experience in information technology either systems development or infrastructure
5+ years Experience in Audit or Risk Management
Strong partnering and relationship-building is a must for success in this role.
An adaptable, independent leader capable of assessing business problems, project deliverables and interdependencies holistically, and managing and escalating issues/risks to key stakeholders and leadership in a timely fashion.
Strong communication skills (presentation and influencer) and ability to synthesize information in order to drive team to results.
Proactive - Ability to "connect the dots" for others across multiple data points, make connections upstream/downstream that may not be easily noticeable.
Participate in cross-functional teams and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team
Must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual capable of supporting multiple projects under tight deadlines, and in an environment where business needs/priorities may change and path forward is not always clear
Facilitate regular workgroup meetings/work sessions and develop/track project timelines where appropriate.
Active participation during the identification and tracking of issues/ risks and identification of action plans to resolve issues/ risks maintaining momentum on mitigation plan deliverables.
Competency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
