Position Overview

This position will be in the Human Resources organizational unit within Southern California Edison and will report to the Senior Manager, Workforce Insights. The Workforce Insights team delivers strategic workforce planning, human capital analytics & research, company goals reporting, predictive analytics and HR budget planning.

The successful candidate should have an equal passion for data, research & storytelling. This role will oversee the project management of at least two major HR analytics research projects per year. It will also own the creation of a yearly workforce insights presentation to Edison Sr. Leadership. Research projects will entail the creation of initial research questions, presentation of ideas to HR Sr. Leadership, hypothesis testing, deep dive analytics, supporting statistical and survey-based analysis and the creation of findings in a thoughtful and well-planned research story. Projects will include ongoing check-ins with HR management and will include the support of other analysts on the team. The candidate will ultimately be responsible for the final research deliverables.

The right candidate for this role must be a self-starter who can create a project plan, manage others without authority and receive the feedback necessary to deliver best in class business research & analysis. Curiosity and the ability to look at data from all angles is essential and strong Excel, PowerPoint & visual storytelling skills are a must. Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, I/O Psychology or related field.

  • Must have 5 years of experience analyzing data, performing research analysis, hypothesis testing, developing presentations and presenting findings to senior management.

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA or other Master's Degree

  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills

  • Project Management Training or Certification

  • Excellent communication skills with clients, senior managers and executives

  • Self-starter with ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong problem-solving ability with a high attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete work within allocated time frames

About Information Governance The Information Governance Department within the Customer Programs and Services (CP&S) organization is a fast paced team responsible for the implementation of technical and business solutions. Position Overview This position will support the implementation of a new California law called the California Consumer Privacy Act (CaCPA). This new law expands the definition of personal information for all California Residents, thus, the law impacts SCE and EIX Typical Responsibilities: * Supports a project manager with the development and implementation of technical and non-technical solutions * Develop business requirements, processes and supports Training and Org Change Management activities * Will facilitate face-to-face meetings to document all impacted CS processes * Attend workshops and meetings that will require note-taking including action items, risks and issues * May be required to facilitate meetings on behalf of the Project Manager * Create and/or modify PowerPoint presentations for the department and management team * Review regulatory and tariff rules to accomplish tasks * Traveling will be required around surrounding cities of Rosemead, Irwindale, and Rancho Cucamonga Minimum Qualifications * Three years of experience supporting low to medium size cross-functional projects * Three years of experience supporting low to medium size projects that require knowledge of SCE's Customer Service Operations * Familiar with Assembly Bill 375, Senate Bill 1121 and the impact on Tariff Rule 25 (Customer Privacy) * Experience working with minimal direction to meet deadlines and milestones * Experience using Microsoft Office's Visio and Powerpoint software Desired Qualifications * Experience with SCE.com and the implementation of technical projects * Experience with the application of the Customer Privacy law * Demonstrated experience working with the Information Technology organization Comments * Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work directly as employees for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship. * Relocation does not apply to this position * This is a full-time, project regular position for an estimated duration of 24 months.
