Senior Business Analyst with a significant experience in warehousing and distribution practices/industry is responsible for configuring and delivering critical business functions for the Operations department as part of WMS implementation effort. Additional duties will include documenting business requirements and processes, resolving production issues, application configuration, security configuration, and other duties as assigned for administration and management of the WMS system. This role is part of FleetPride's Information Technology (IT) team but will require frequent interaction with Operations and other business teams within FleetPride
Sr. Business Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting Warehouse Management System and DC Operations. The individual will be responsible for requirements gathering, development, testing and accountable for production deployment and support efforts.
Works with cross-functional teams including business owners from multiple domains including branch and sales operations, supply chain, accounting and finance, merchandising among all other business functions. They will also work regularly with the broader IT team consisting of Business Analysts and Solution Architects
Has accountability for successful project delivery.
Ensures that projects deliver not only on functionality, but also follow and enhance the overall company BI and integration platform, and adhere to company's methodology and technical strategy.
Fosters open communication within and between teams that span business and IT
Communicates effectively with IT management and senior leadership, including providing overall project status & health.
Must provide production support to ensure stability and efficiency.
Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Provides a bridge between the IT delivery organization and the business, in partnership with various departments and third parties, to deliver technology solutions that meet the system and process needs of the company.
5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a warehousing and outbound distribution-based role.
Significant experience with HighJump, JDA, Softeon WMS or other WMS solutions.
Significant experience with both direct warehouse operations and transportation management
Deep understanding of functional area operating practices with a strong understanding of industry best practice.
Assist in the definition of business requirements, challenging where appropriate, and then documenting these requirements in terms of technology function and operating processes.
Elicit user requirements
Acts as an interface on detailed design with delivery teams, supporting the delivery phase through to successful implementation.
Lead the solution user acceptance testing cycles - including test scenario documentation and sign off by the business.
Works closely with the IT organization on the project close phase, and transition to the normal support organization once agreed metrics have been achieved
Supports the day to day work of the integrated planning function by offering help, advice, and troubleshooting on the systems that have been implemented.
Good knowledge of order management within an integrated ERP solution environment.
Exposure to wholesale, retail & eCommerce business models.
Proactively drive root cause analysis and resolution: 2 years (Preferred).
Degree in Information Systems, Business or similar field of study, or equivalent experience.

A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience.
