As a member of the IT organization, the Sr. Business Analyst will partner with the Consumer Packaged Goods Sales Team and vendors to determine opportunities for automation of processes and functions to achieve strategic business objectives.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Build strong internal and external relationships; collaborating with other members of the IT team as well as other key functions such as Brand Marketing, Sales, Category Management and Digital Marketing
Manages vendor relationships. Ensures vendor SOW deliverables are met while tracking project budgets, timelines and resources
Full lifecycle project management on projects in support of business objectives
Creates documentation regarding business process, rules and end-user requirements
Supports minor enhancements i.e. report changes, data extracts, etc.
Supports system integration, enhancements and/or upgrades
Works with users to troubleshoot and resolve issues, answers business questions, provides data analysis and works with development resources to build future enhancements
Provides input into user guides and training delivery
Provides Key inputs into Unit, SIT (Systems Integration Testing) and Regression testing
Coordinates UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Works with vendors and Procurement to create SOWs and MSAs
Managing deliverables both business and financial
Translates low complexity business requirements into technical requirements, and vice versa
Identifies automation opportunities
Produce business case and project charters
Change Adoption Driver
Contract deliverable management
Business process re-engineering
Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
One year of additional specialized training/education a plus
5+ years of related experience
Strong time management and organization skills
Sound analytical, problem solving skills
Collaboration skills focused on problem resolution
Solid project management skills
Proficient with MS Office including MS Access, MS Project and MS Visio
Proficient with SQL
Strong meeting facilitation skills with core teams and department managers
