Analyzes and defines the business requirements and functional or operational architecture for moderately complex projects. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives by thoroughly understanding business processes.

Using documented processes, collects and defines requirements, translates into functional design documents and develops project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions for a given project. Participates in development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation. Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.

Applies experiences with existing software and/or systems development processes to develop better processes to be used in the future. Actively influences software and/or systems development process improvement initiatives. Provides advice to internal business groups and business analysts on process improvement projects by analyzing business process flows and identifying changes. Contributes to the achievemen of team objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline required, or equivalent work experience required. 2-4 years of experience in a systems environment required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

In order to meet all established time and action deadlines, the Senior Analyst - In-Store Operations partners closely with Store Environment, Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communications and internally across Store Operations, Merchandising and Marketing to coordinate and align resources. In addition, the Senior Analyst - In-Store Operations will forecast for CapX, signage, fixtures, in store collateral, travel budgets, etc. As opportunities or roadblocks surface, the Senior Analyst - In-Store Operations owns the communication and escalation of project impacts to managers. Visual Merchandising & Store Environment Budget Management * Support In-Store Environment, Visual Merchandising and In-Store communications teams to scope new product initiatives, identify priorities, and deliver key project budgets that have multiple stakeholders and moving parts. * Proactively assess risk and resolve issues before they become problems for the larger teams. * Manage calendar for In-Store Environment, Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communications and the associated processes throughout the year. Ensure deliverables from across the enterprise are on track to hit established deadlines, budgets and statements of work. Provide recaps to leadership as needed to hold the team accountable. * Own the management and supervision of the Merch Cap Ex budget in concert with Finance. This includes leading bi-weekly meetings with the Directors, Merch Finance and Attack team finance members to ensure on time and on budget delivery of all approved projects. * Attend all large-scale project meetings. Actively drive accountability between all key cross-functional teams involved by gathering status updates, completion progress and misses to deadlines or budget. Gather appropriate information on misses and recap to leadership. * Own the scheduling and preparation of all project meetings for short- and long-range strategic projects across Store Planning, Store Environment, In-Store Communications and Visual Merchandising. Business Process Development, Improvement & Change Management * Collaborate on process improvement efforts across the department. Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop appropriate process control changes. * Interact with Visual Merchandising, In-Store Environment and In-Store Communications leadership, across functions, to provide status updates and process improvement action plans as it relates to the overall operational standards and processes. Listen for feedback and react accordingly to ensure all operational standards and processes align with the long-term strategic direction of the department. Driving On-Going Operational Excellence * Create consistent departmental standards and best practices to ensure all Project and release deadlines are met with efficiencies. Hold teammates accountable for deadline adherence, inefficiencies and accurate execution. * Develop reporting needs to assess and measure the department's ability to meet or exceed project and release deadlines and budget. Share results with group and department leaders to hold teammates accountable. Provide recommendations and action steps to remove roadblocks, gaps or duplicative efforts that hinder speed to market within budget. * Act as a subject matter expert on all cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring teammates are building strategies and action plans in accordance with the operational standards of the department. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 3-5 Years of Experience Business Degree focused on Management, Operations Management, Retail Merchandising, preferred Extensive, cross functional retail experience, in a fast-paced environment Experience in developing process and creating measurements, this includes the ability to accurately estimate completion of deliverables and a passion for simplified design. Self-directed, well organized and strong follow-up skills. Communicate, influence and collaborate cross-functionally and across multiple levels in the organization (contributors, managers, directors, VP) Ability to build strong working relationships with peers, managers and partners.
