Sr. Business Analyst

Experis is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst who will be responsible for working closely with the team in an agile and or waterfall development format while providing requirements (in various formats), process flows and assisting in developing and delivering proof of concept demonstrations to key stakeholders.

Expected Responsibilities:

Requirements engineering (business, stakeholder, functional, solution and transition level requirements)

Business process design and documentation (workflow modeling, BPMN experience a plus)

Analysis of existing processes (as-is modeling) and ability to bridge to-be state processes

Assess captured business requirements against enterprise platform capabilities (fit gap analysis)

Participation in our Request for Proposal process

Rapid design and development of proof of concepts / prototypes

System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and facilitation

Issue tracking & resolution coordination

Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

Have an excellent professional attitude with strong interpersonal communication, facilitation and presentation skills

Be customer experience focused (customer empathizing)

Be highly capable in conflict resolution and negotiation

Be able to articulate platform capabilities shape customer demand against platform offerings

Have strong and proven background in developing Business Analysis artifacts, such as process maps, and requirements documentation (business and technical levels)

Have experience in operating as a Business Analyst / Product Owner in an agile framework (such as Scrum) and also within more sequential project methodologies (i.e. waterfall)

Have 5+ years recent working experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus around upfront customer facing process analysis and requirements gathering against produced process analysis outputs

Have a CCBA or CBAP certification (preferred, not required)

While some of the local transportation service within the larger metropolitan areas is provided by postal employees, the majority of the network is serviced by highway contract suppliers. The complexity of the network requires continuous adaptations, resulting in requests for new service, or contract modifications. Transportation purchasing in the USPS environment requires technically skilled and knowledgeable personnel who specialize in the commodity, and that are well versed in procurement, contract administration, and contract law. Responsibilities * Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. * Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. * Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. * Performs financial/statistical analysis and presenting recommendations based on the findings. * Tracks record of driving results through process improvement * Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions. * Provided executive management with improved visibility to high-level trends, identification of key controllable metrics and creation of standardized reporting. * Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and prepare detailed reports for executive management. Qualifications * Must be a U.S. citizen. * Security Clearance Type: Public Trust. * Full background check including drug screening . * Bachelor degree in a business related disciplines; MBA preferred. * Knowledge of Qualitative Business Processes, re-engineering. * Business analysis experience (i.e. requirement analysis/gathering, business case development, etc.) * Strong writing skills; experience in developing job aids and policy documents. * Experience recommending controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures. * Demonstrated experience improving workflow systems by studying current practices and designing modifications. * Detail-oriented and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
