Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency? We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Appliance Park in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of data governance and management (DGM) systems, enhancing our business intelligence capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our DGM goals.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the consolidation of product backlog and sprint details for DGM systems.

  • Lead sprint release planning and socialization of Collibra with stakeholders.

  • Assist in project management across DGM system teams and business as needed.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define, document, and track system enhancements.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify DGM use case requirements.

  • Support end user validation and testing efforts, ensuring seamless delivery to stakeholders.

  • Propose user stories that support maximizing DGM system value and usability.

  • Support DGM system socialization efforts and release planning communication.

  • Lead best practices for Devops tool & processes with DGM teams and stakeholders.

  • Develop JIRA / Smartsheet dashboards to improve visibility to project tasks and timelines.

  • Document key DGM system workflows, procedures, and functional responsibilities.

  • Support DGM product owners and dev team, defining "done" and estimating timelines.

  • Partner with stakeholders on service level agreements for issue management.

  • Create Tableau reports that improve data accessibility and actionability for end users.

  • Identify and action process improvements to improve product delivery cycle times.

  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to deliver value to stakeholders.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence & project management.

  • Knowledge of Agile product development principles. Scrum Master Certification is a plus.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or other viz applications.

  • Proficiency in SQL, data manipulation skills, and communicating to senior leadership.

  • Excellent project management skills along with working knowledge of JIRA.

  • Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Proven ability to communicate technical solutions to an executive audience.

  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data management practices.
