The Product Team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead local and remote development delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in the financial services sector or product management exposure with an equivalent balance of motivation to quickly learn the needs of our users.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare key work stream to support multi-asset class coverage within the portfolio suite

  • Translate market requirements for multi asset class initiatives into detailed functional specs

  • Propose and perform market and usage analysis for portfolio Product initiatives

  • Act as the primary Product liaison between Chicago and remote offices

  • Help Prioritize and own bugs and enhancement requests in the Capital Lifecycle queues

  • Actively communicate with Product Managers and remote teams regarding current and future development projects

  • Work directly with Software Engineering teams for Product-related issues

  • Serve as primary Product participant in Agile/Scrum sprint ceremonies

  • Identify cross-functional dependencies and work with other teams to sequence development work

  • Verify that developed software matches the specifications

  • Update product documentation to reflect developed software

  • Coordinate launch steps with Product Marketing

Experience and Skills

  • 2-4 years experience at administrator, investment management firm, investment allocator or FinTech company

  • Proficient in product management concepts

  • Limited travel to customers, vendors and partners

  • Ability to work independently

  • Willingness to lead weekly time shift calls to overlap with remote engineers


  • Fluent in Mandarin

  • Proficiency with statistics in finance

  • Knowledge of various financial instruments

  • Understanding of portfolio management concepts

Create business requirements for technical teams to build solutions. Prepare presentations for management. Coordinate testing and implementation of systems and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: Interpret and assess the need to change business processes and systems through the implementation of software change or new development. Deliver elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables. Assist in conducting feasibility studies and preparation of cost/benefit analyses for new systems or changes to existing systems. Assist in recommending and designing cost-efficient systems for user departments. Assist in evaluating resource requirements (personnel, equipment, etc.) for a given Administrative function. Assists project personnel in: * Development of the acceptance plan and testing criteria. * Development of test data for new/modified systems and procedures. * Evaluation of test results. * Development of Business Process Diagram. Participate in the development of processing controls that monitor system-efficiency and provide security. Report progress on assignments. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Education or equivalent work experience in information systems / data processing environment. Experience working in a matrixed organization structure. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven interpersonal and analytical skills.
