Role Value Proposition:
Lead the effort to develop and implement new or revised processes, procedures, initiatives. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation, provide a single point of contact for assigned projects. Define project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

Communicate with a Senior Project Manager, Functional Area Manager, or Program Manager regarding status of specific projects.
Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
Oversees high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
Manage projects from original concept through final implementation.
Requires ability to lead and motivate project team members that are not direct reports, as well as providing work direction to lower-level staff members
Organizational intelligence and strong influence management/cross-functional leadership skills; adept at working in a matrixed structure
Microsoft Office particularly fluid in Project, PowerPoint and Excel; multi-task oriented, organizational skills, time management, Work Independently
Typically has a BS/BA degree with 5-7 years of work or project experience, and with 3-4 years in the role of managing projects
Program management experience including proven track record managing high-priority projects in a complex, sophisticated customer and competitive environment
Exceptional analytical skills with demonstrated ability to apply analysis to actionable insights
Experience with Share point
Insurance experience a plus
Advanced degree / training/ certification in Project Management/ Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
8-10 yrs. related business experience
