As a Senior Brand Strategist for Amazon Payment Acceptance & Experience, you will be responsible for crafting the brand promise, positioning and messaging for payments across the WW Payments portfolio. You will have the opportunity to create and define a new brand pillar for Amazon, work with teams in established markets as well as emerging geographies.
This role resides on the Marketing team of Amazon Payment Acceptance & Experience, part of the Consumer Payments organization. You will bring prior experience creating new brands and/or rationalizing existing brand portfolios. You have experience leveraging consumer insights to discern a brand's sweet spot the intersection of customer desire with the company's unique strengths. We are obsessed with understanding the needs of our customer throughout their entire journey and are on a mission to elevate their end-to-end payments experience. You are a talented storyteller, and with a proven track record for creating compelling brand architecture (purpose, promise, pillars, voice) fosters and reinforces customers' deep emotional connection to the brand.
Your creative thinking starts with the customer and works backwards.
You are able to extract informative data from market research and consumer insights to guide positioning and messaging recommendations.
You have superior narrative writing skills, are naturally talented in developing communications frameworks, and are able to clearly articulate multi-dimensional thinking in narrative format as you solve problems.
You understand how to achieve brand consistency in worldwide, multi-channel communications.
Communicating with senior leaders is comfortable and natural for you, whether in written or verbal form.

Key Responsibilities include:
Spearhead the creation of new positioning and brand architecture for WW Payments
Prepare customer facing messaging to marketing channel owners
Build messaging frameworks for Amazon partner teams as well as key product tiers
Create messaging strategy for key target segments
Lead the development of brand voice and personality, partnering with UX team
Understand local needs and adaptations to messaging required for international territories
Serve as business owner for all brand research and tracking studies partnering with Market Research and UX
Drive brand consistency across marketing assets worldwide including with partner teams
Measure key KPIs to increase familiarity for the Amazon Music brand; create right leading indicators to achieve the above in collaboration with Partner teams
Regularly audit competitive strategic analysis, customer/target audience segmentation, and consumer insight development
