The Senior Brand Manager will be a global brand steward and champion, responsible for brand experience and integrated marketing efforts for the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House brands. The ideal candidate is a collaborative cross-functional leader and passionate brand builder seeking an exciting challenge with a globally recognized hospitality company. The Senior Brand Manager will influence and support the strategic direction of the brands, working closely with the VP, Global Brand Leader. Focused on maintaining global brand relevance, he/she will partner with strategic insights, design, and operations teams around the world to create meaningful, differentiated experiences and well-defined brand standards. He/she will also develop and execute global brand marketing plans, establish brand partnerships, and manage revenue-driving promotions, working closely with other commercial services functions.

More specifically, the Senior Brand Manager will:

  • Manage agency partners to develop/refresh brand identities, creating suite of branded assets (e.g., comprehensive brand guidelines, brand education resources, local marketing templates)

  • Oversee brand photography and video production, in partnership with internal/external creative resources

  • Manage brand experience innovation workstreams, developing, piloting, and launching impactful signature experiences and brand-aligned partnerships

  • Lead creative development, media planning, execution, and measurement of all integrated marketing plans

  • Champion brands across all marketing channels via collaboration with cross-functional teams:

o Partner with loyalty team on offers and ongoing communications to World of Hyatt Members

o Influence digital, social, and communications teams to ensure that the look, feel, and voice of our brands show up authentically, impactfully, and consistently

o Provide brand support to regional teams, advising on marketing plans, branded materials, etc.

This position is based in Chicago, IL at Hyatt's Global Headquarters.

Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Steward of the brand that articulates and supports brand promise, vision, position, and architecture to achieve overall business goals.

  • Follows an insight-driven approach to innovation, building unique, meaningful brand experiences through all consumer touchpoints. Works collaboratively with design, operations, and hotel teams to identify and develop new initiatives/offerings.

  • Engages, inspires, and galvanizes the organization around the brand vision, position, and strategies to provide clarity in bringing them to life in each functional area.

  • Collaborates with in-house creative team and external agencies to build brand guidelines and design standards that support the brand identity and brand promise, and effectively apply standards to brand templates and tools.

  • Develops and delivers brand immersions and works collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure consistency in communications within brand guidelines.

  • Maintains brand experience guides (in conjunction with brand refreshes and ongoing), keeping all brand standards and resources up to date.

  • Partnering with Strategic Insights, monitors and reports on brand health and performance vs. competitive set.

  • Reviews regional and local marketing materials, provides feedback/recommendations for brand consistency.


  • 8+ years experience, in consumer brand management or marketing within the hospitality, retail or packaged goods industries.


  • Undergraduate degree required.

  • Graduate degree a plus.

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

From overseeing the hotels plumbing and electrics, to HVAC and pool maintenance, you assist and supervise general facilities upkeep. The Hotel Assistant Maintenance Engineer reports to the General Manager and Chief Engineer and is responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality work to ensure minimal disruption to guests.
