This position is responsible for support of Business Process Management (BPM) governance including, defined methodologies, applicable standards & guidelines, and approved tools & templates. Governance responsibilities also include support related to the governance and product quality of the Distribution Business Process Library (DBPL).
The position is also responsible for support of the Document Management Program (DMP) including, QA/QC audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across BPM documents that support Distribution Operations, Customer Service Ops, and Grid Solutions' projects & programs. DMP support includes routine updates of designed metrics for reporting and assigned document maintenance tasks to ensure all BPM documentation including, Governance Documents and Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) are accurate, reliable, and up-to-date for End-user access and use.
The position will collaborate with and provide BPM technical assistance for BPM Process Designers/Analysts, Technical Writers, BPM Leads, and internal DMP Customers to support BPM Governance/Library work plans, initiatives, and daily activities.
Perform approved edits and revisions for the established BPM Standard and BPM Agile Methodologies. Process recommended and approved changes/improvements for BPM standards & guidelines for process development and all supporting templates. Assist with assignment of required metadata to documents posted in the process library (DBPL) to ensure accuracy related to End-user access. Conduct periodic quality checks of process library SOPs and SharePoint documents to ensure appropriate levels of accuracy, consistency, and quality of all BPM documentation. Update established DMP metrics for routine reporting and identify recommendations for improvements and development of additional metrics to track BPM/DMP performance against established work plans, initiatives, and/or goals.
Support document maintenance work plans by performing routine edits of process maps in the standard BPM mapping tool (i.e. WebMethods Software AG Designer) and within existing SOPs including in the document management, Scheduled Revisions program. Perform additional process map and/or SOP revisions, as assigned, to support emergent customer requests and daily DMP work (e.g. Enable document upgrades, ad-hoc requests, Scheduled Revisions back-log and follow-up).
Provide technical assistance as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to BPM resources and DMP participants to resolve SharePoint and DBPL issues (including broken links), locate documents and templates, the standard BPM mapping tool. Provide clarity and direction for questions related to existing BPM standards and guidelines. Serve as a liaison to escalate issues to the appropriate BPM Leadership, the DMP Fusion Administrator, the WebMethods Administrator, SharePoint Administrators, IT, or a BPM Designer/Analyst in order to bring closure to unresolved issues.
