This position will perform management functions relating to the administrative and scientific activities of specific project work and team members:

  • Oversee statistical aspects in the design and analysis of clinical trials, including project management, statistical analysis, report preparation, and advising other project statisticians

  • Function as Biostatistics Project Leader for multiple protocols, projects, or NDA projects, including coordinating with other PPD divisions and interacting with the client and regulatory agencies

Education and Experience:

  • MS/MA degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field and a minimum of 4 years experience or

  • Ph. D. and a minimum of 2 years experience or

  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong SAS programming skills

  • Ability to direct and promote teamwork in a multi-disciplinary team setting

  • Proven performance of required tasks, as evidenced in outstanding performance in current tasks and/or documented record of accomplishments

  • Evidence of strong management skills, as shown through management of multiple projects and/or staff members

  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities

  • Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others

Qlarant's Investigations MEDIC contract has contingent openings for Pharmacy Subject Matter Experts. This is a perfect position for an senior-level Pharmacy Tech with expertise and experience in Medicare Part D, fraud investigation/audit, managed care/PBM, utililization management, and inventory management. As a member of our Investigative MEDIC team, you will work in concert with our pharmacists, data analysts and investigators to detect and prevent fraud, waste and abuse in the Medicare Part C and Part D programs. This position can be home-based in most areas of the country for well qualified candidates. Please Note: These are not immediate openings. The positions are contingent upon CMS approval. This position does not require a Pharmacist license or Pharmacy degree. As a result, the salary is in line with the required qualifications. Additional compensation is not available for candidates with a Pharmacist license. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Collaborates with the customer to design and adapt processes and deliverables to meet changing needs. * Provides relevant data and billing training to Analysts and Investigators. * Provides oversight and provides customer service functions related to the state agency(ies), people receiving services, families of people receiving services, providers, and other stakeholders. * Assists in the development, evaluation process, and implementation of policies, procedures, and training/education modules relating to all contract activities. * Works with subcontractor(s) to develop and implement policies and procedures consistent with requirements of the prime contract. * Liaison to agencies with responsibilities including: facilitating meetings, attending committee meetings, and addressing questions and concerns raised by contractor. * Oversees specific contract(s) to ensure all contract requirements are met. * Acts as administrative lead for specific contract(s). * Participates in targeted/strike force reviews and intelligence targeting. * Oversees department investigative teaming and tools. * Interfaces significantly with CMS staff and law enforcement personnel. * Supports ongoing customer relationships and development of new initiatives. * Develops and utilizes measurement systems to evaluate contract performance and improvement. * Represents organization at state and national level in relation to contract administration. * May assist in the implementation of new contracts and responds to RFP process as needed. * Identifies opportunities for improvement; assists teams in developing and implementing improvement strategies.
