Job Summary:
As a Sr.

Big Data Developer you will be accountable for building new, data-intensive software products and applications that are focused on bringing the healthcare data together. These products are mostly analytical in nature and we use advanced technologies in big data space to provide a cutting edge solution to solve business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Performing all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, and code development & testing.

Designing and implementing product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Design, develop and test reusable frameworks, libraries and Java components. Working very closely with Architecture group and driving technical solutions.

Be innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the business. Address the performance issues and design the solutions to meet low latency needs. Use Big data technologies to enrich and transform data and do data analytics, machine learning.

Lead technology decisions, drive product implementation and delivery. Support the implementation and drive it to stable state in production. Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates.

Reviewing code and providing feedback relative to best practices, improving performance etc. Troubleshooting production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required. Demonstrate substantial depth of knowledge and experience in a specific area of Big Data and Java development.

Drive the team and collaborate to meet project timelines.

Requirements:
Big Data Application Development specific skills: Spark, Scala, HBase, Map Reduce, Hive, SQL, PIG, Python Hands on expertise with Java Applications (technologies including AngularJS etc...) Demonstrated expertise in Java programs, applications, and frameworks.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology Clear and concise communication, able to articulate clearly. Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Technology Stack / Priority:

High:

Spark, Scala, Kafka, PIG, Python, HBase, Hive, MapReduce, Python, Java Medium: Elastic Search, ML Libraries, Streaming Technologies, CICD Technologies (Jenkins, Maven, etc ) Low: Cloud Deployment Technologies (AWS, Azure), Kibana Years Experience: 3+ years hands-on expertise with Big Data technologies 4+ years hands-on expertise with Java, Unix, and SQL 8 + years software engineering experience Preferred skills:

We are seeking a Sr Manager Data Engineering in our Minnetonka, MN office. The Sr Mgr Data Engineering will lead the technical design and development for the Data Engineering organization. This role will provide strategic recommendations combining the needs of the customer, team, and senior management, as well as day-to-day tactical direction and act as a point of escalation for specific incidents. The Sr Mgr Data Engineering will define and manage the development policies, procedures, and best practices. This individual will also be responsible for the design and development of the data architecture necessary to support the product roadmap for the analytics product offering. What You'll Do: Technical Leadership/Strategy o Lead the design, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting Data Warehouse components and sub-systems. o Participate in the logical and physical design of the various Data Warehouse structures. o Leverage broad understanding of data warehousing and big data technologies to lead architectural design of new data models o Maintain methods to ensure the integrity of the data and availability of various environments for coding, programming, testing and production usage. o Review new data warehouse related technologies and make recommendations to improve Digital River's environment o Diagnose and work with the appropriate individuals to resolve data warehouse development, system and user problems o Research industry trends and advancements and make recommendations to enhance Digital River's technology. o Actively participate in and contribute to strategic planning sessions for the product roadmap o Regularly evaluate processes and make recommendations to improve efficiency.
