Sr. Benefits Associate

Are you passionate about ensuring an exceptional associate experience? Do you like to have strategic impact and work cross functionally in a dynamic environment? Our Benefits team is looking for someone who is motivated to support ongoing operations, projects, and programs for Health & Wellness benefits administration, including vendor management and oversight. The focus of this role is on administration and compliance of the benefit programs, including audits, risk management and process improvements. The person in this role will perform a variety of functions, including managing associate inquiries and identifying/resolving process and system breakdowns, using experience to streamline and document processes, improve functionality, and ensure an exceptional associate experience. While managing associate inquires, the Health and Welfare Benefits Associate will also identify/resolve process breakdowns and improve functionality to make our most important asset - our people - work smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR processes and programs throughout the company. Makes recommendations and decisions related to processes they own. Initiate Program/process improvements to mitigate risks.

  • Requires research and execution of HR projects and programs which leads to recommendations on changes or improvements.

  • Complete project assessment, delegate work to others within team, program and processes see project through to completion, final analysis

  • Works with HR senior management and HR Consultants regarding the HR processes/ programs they own.

  • Prepares decks and presentations, as needed.

  • Serves as the relationship manager for internal and external vendors

The Sr Benefits Associate will collaborate with other associates across HR and the organization as a whole. The individual will provide consultation to internal associates on HR processes and applications. The individual helps drive HR enhancement projects for current HR process and applications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or military experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR)

  • Project Management Certification (PMP)

  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Management

  • Bachelor's Degree
