As a Sr. Automotive Specialist, part of the New Business Venture team, you will function as a technical training resource for internal and external customers, possessing advanced level knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic techniques, repair procedures, and overall product familiarity supporting quality improvement and customer satisfaction. This includes conducting support calls via a video app. Creating our call quality standards, and the quality program for all Experts on our platform. Additionally, this role will be responsible for automotive expert community engagement, and hosting events in-person and online throughout the year to ensure a high retention rate of our top talent on the app. Additionally, you will operate as a Brand Ambassador as our mechanical expert at external events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create call quality rubric

• Create call quality notification and engagement program

• Review Expert calls and assess them for quality

• Conduct vetting calls with Expert applicants

• Create Expert community engagement program

• Host Expert community events both in-person and online

• Create, participate and approve video content creation on the App product.

• Be in the videos or work with the team in designing the content and signs off for the final production.

• Create reference materials and guides for our most frequently requested issues, car types, and projects

• Provide expert technical support to our DIYers to assist in the diagnosis and repair of their automobiles

• Travel to car events and operate as the expert brand ambassador

• Participate and lead event activities with car enthusiasts.

• DIYers and experts - drive additional user engagement

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree, automotive technical school degree, or equivalent work-related experience.
• ASE certified or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of auto mechanic experience

• Experience in curriculum / training material design.

• Experience leading training or classroom teaching preferred.

• Extensive automotive technical experience & trouble shooting skills required.

• Experience and knowledge with multiple makes and models preferred.

• Automotive DIY experience
