Sr. Automation Sdet Test Engineer

The Sr. SW Automation Engineer will assist the team in designing, developing, executing, and monitoring a robust suite of automated tests for our cloud services. With our engineering team placing a huge focus on automated testing, this role will require you to apply your development and test experience to thoroughly validate our cloud-based services by implementing new automation tests and expanding existing tooling where appropriate. You will be designing and creating tests that will cover all aspects of the product.

This is a Hybrid in Pittsford, NY. Must be a US Citizen and Green Card holder

The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Key Responsibilities

• Be part of an Agile delivery team, planning, executing, and maintaining relevant, reliable, and robust automated tests that support a cloud-based solution.

• Develop and maintain tooling that will be used to design, build, and run automated test suites as part of a continuous deployment infrastructure with zero-downtime releases to our customers.

• Develop, execute, and maintain a library of automated tests.

• Act as a thought leader with respect to test and automation design within the program, sharing knowledge and experience across delivery teams.

What would make you the ideal candidate?

• You are a subject matter expert in automation development and integration.

• You have a proven success record in developing & maintaining automated tests in CI/CD environments.

• You have experience testing against of the major cloud environments: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud

• You have experience automating the interaction of cloud services with on-prem devices.

• You are great at working with global teams.

• You like to nurture and lead a group of people in setting and accomplishing goals.

• You like to use data to get management buy-in and still have the common sense to make yourself understood.

You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ yrs. experience developing, executing, and triaging automation scripts to validate software.

• Expert knowledge with various development tools: Jenkins, GitHub, Node.js, CucumberJS, Selenium, JavaScript, Bash

• Solid understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) concepts and practices to continually assess the risks and quality of products.

• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, detail oriented with the ability to drive tasks to completion and on schedule
