Reliability Engineer to support to space, avionics and ground-based programs, IRADs, and proposals.
Understand specified and derived program requirements applicable to Reliability Engineering
Provide leadership in the implementation of Reliability requirements
Provide leadership using current engineering principles in the performance of Reliability Analysis; Failure Mode and Effects Analysis; Component Deratings Analysis; Worst Case Circuit Design Analysis; Redundancy Implementation Trade Analyses; Availability Analysis, Maintainability Analysis, Testability Analysis
Analyze and assess redundant architectures
Understand implications of using parts in radiation environments
Demonstrate a depth of knowledge in component construction, limitations and failure analysis techniques
Demonstrate knowledge test processes including environmental testing and life testing components and circuit cards
Be comfortable working on electrical and/or mechanical systems relative to reliability
Provide technical and cost inputs to proposal efforts relative to reliability
Experience with Reliability Analysis tools such as Windchill (Relex) failure rate prediction software
Experience with Microsoft office tools
Experience with Availability Workbench is a plus
Circuit analysis ability commensurate with performing component stress analysis and failure mode and effects analyses
Experience in test and manufacturing support with experience leading troubleshooting and root cause and corrective action processes
Experience in working with space hardware and the inherent rigorous design analyses
Team player able to work in small and large team environments and have strong communications skills
