Position-Specific Duties - Sales

  • All Senior Associate (full-time) responsibilities are shared. However, a Senior Associate will typically be scheduled more than 50% of their time in their specific area of responsibility as well as other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Minimum of one year experience in retail or Customer Service

Education

  • High School graduate/Equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with customers and associates in person and via e-mail and telephone

  • Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds

  • Requires standing and moving for an entire shift

  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist

  • Ability to safely climb up and down a ladder

  • Ability to become forklift certified and physically able to operate a forklift in accordance with IIPP

Availability

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, overnights and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the retail business. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job

Propensity to lead validation to pipeline and bookings – drive operational alignment with program manager, sales, IT, BTA and IIC * Develop forecast models for pipeline and bookings projections * Drive target setting process for future quarters and YoY. * Develop quarter end QBR deck and standardized global and Geo templates * Drive data quality, process and automation activities that improve process efficiencies * Assist in all facets of sales planning, territory planning and coverage models * Generate presentation material for business partners * Collaborate with other sales operations teams and cross functional teams to drive business alignment * Subject matter expert on corporate cross functional projects and initiatives * Act as a change agent to implement sales process improvement Requirements: * 5+ years' experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Finance or related field * Demonstrated passion for data, analytics and problem solving * Strong experience around CRMs (sfdc), propensity modeling and lead scoring (Lattice, Eloqua, etc…) * Superior analytical skills * Advanced MS Office skills * Self-starter with excellent time and project management skills * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) * Strength in researching, understanding, distilling and communicating complex business issues, ideas and analyzing business impact * Strong experience using CRM applications: Salesforce.com admin a plus * Enterprise software or high tech industry experience a plus * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or related field Vmware, Inc.
