About the Team
The Workday Education team creates and delivers engaging and innovative learning solutions to help customers, partners, and employees make the most of Workday's unified solution.
The program management function manages the Education initiatives that align to the Education Organization goals. Each initiative has a series of related projects and tasks that are managed and reported against to ensure the organization stays on track with its goals for the financial year.
One of the primary goals of this team is to complete projects on time, on budget and to keep project stakeholders happy and informed each step of the way.

About the Role
The Education Project Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Education related projects from initiation through delivery ensuring consistency with company strategy, department commitments and goals. For each of these projects the Education Project Manager will oversee the end to end project plan, resolve issues that stand in the way of project success and ensure the completion of project tasks and deliverables on time, and to quality standards. He/she will coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings to measure progress and maintain an up to date and accurate status of all projects within the portfolio.
Develop, oversee and help implement projects that support Workday Education's vision and goals.
Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Communicate effectively to ensure stakeholders and project resources are completely aligned on project scope, goals and deliverables.
Define project tasks and resource requirements.
Develop project plans.
Assemble, coordinate and lead cross functional groups to deliver on project objectives.
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and resolve problems that may come up.
Provide direction and support to project team.
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve desired project goals.

Bachelor's degree or relevant and equivalent work experience required.
5+ year's project or program management experience.
Passion to stay current on industry trends and related learning technology.
