JOB FAMILY SUMMARY: Oversees claims operations that involve customer contact, investiga-tion and settlement of property and personal damage claims for and against the organization | Approves all claim settlements both for and against the organization | Works with insur-ance companies, contractors, repair facilities, internal and external legal staff, law enforcement agencies and collection services in the settlement of claims | Coordinates and conducts site investigations to determine the causes of damage and the extent and method of restitution to customer | Initiates procedures for billing and collection of money owed to the or-ganization for damage to organization equipment and/or property CAREER LEVEL DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrates competence in own area, and is proficient in specific area of discipline. Typically works with moderate guidance in area of knowledge. KNOWLEDGE: Full application of standard policies and procedures.

May still be acquiring higher skill level, and gaining exposure to more complex tasks within job function. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope.

Job requires judgment within defined practices and procedures.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & TYPICAL EXPERIENCE OR EQUIV. COMBINATION: Works under normal supervision.

Follows established procedures. Detailed instructions given for new assignments. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.

VIEW JOBS 9/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-11T00:00 JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Responsible for ensuring that Entergy's IT investments are focused on delivering projects that are of high value and in line with the organization strategies and objectives. The IT Consultant works with the IT Technology and Service Delivery Organizations to ensure that strategies and roadmaps are appropriately defined. The role will further be responsible for the supporting Entergy's Portfolio Management Process to ensure that projects and programs are reviewed to prioritize resource allocation, and that the management of the portfolio is consistent with and aligned with organizational strategies. Helps with justification and prioritization of solution requests and approved projects and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure solutions integrate with the organization's infrastructure and long-term goals by possessing a deep understanding of the business strategy and technology needs of assigned groups. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supports Technology and Service Delivery Organizations in the development of strategies and roadmaps that are in line with Entergy Business and IT strategies and objectives. * Governs the overall IT planning and roadmapping process to ensure that plans and roadmaps are properly developed and reviewed on an established basis. * Works with other IT organizations to develop and enhance IT planning and portfolio management processes. Effectively communicates changes to processes as required. * Leads the annual IT capital planning process by working with Service Delivery Organizations, IT Leadership and other Entergy stakeholders to develop and gain approval of the plan. * Assesses projects by understanding overall value, resource demands, interdependencies on other projects and impact to the IT Portfolio. * Tracks the progress of the project portfolio by working with the PMO organization to understand overall health of the portfolio. Communicates status and results to senior IT Leadership. * Tracks new project demands and changes to the overall project portfolio. Works with IT stakeholders to gain approval on proposed changes. * Manages project portfolio and engages when necessary with troubled projects. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or closely related discipline. Advanced Degree preferred.
