About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Sr Art Director to join our Men's Wearhouse and Moores Marketing team to help drive the evolution and elevation of our visual brand presence across the retail landscape. This individual will report to the Creative Director and be responsible to drive seasonal campaign concept, design and execution of visuals used in advertising channels.

What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Concept, design and execute best-in-class creative inclusive of brand campaigns, seasonal Editorial campaigns, sale/event campaigns, graphics, photoshoots and more

  • Collaborate with stylists, photographers and production partners to execute a variety of photo shoots ranging from on-location to in-studio on-figure, still-life and e-comm exclusive content

  • Partner with designers and copywriters to develop and innovate creative across all mediums

  • Partner with the Senior Digital Art Director to audit, update and maintain the brands' visual style guides including photography, typography, iconography, and layout standards to be easily leveraged by the internal design team as well as external agency partners and vendors.

  • Maintain a finger on the pulse of the current retail market, best practices, and trends to inform the evolving brand creative and style guide

  • Integrate art direction with strategy, working with the Creative Director to ensure work achieves the brand business goals and objectives

  • Present campaign ideas in an organized and thoughtful manner that speaks to creatives and non-creatives alike.

  • Support your creative decisions with evidence, insights, and rationale beyond the aesthetic

  • Collaborate with brand/program partners, front end developers, channel partners and project managers in execution of brand creative projects that bridge quality creative with strategy

  • Practice proactive communication with the team and cross-functional partners to keep deliverables on track and best-in-class

  • Facilitate group reviews and coordinate with internal team and partners to meet review checkpoints

  • Stay solutions-oriented, following processes while looking for opportunities to develop efficiencies within your own work and the team and channels

What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Advertising preferred

  • 8 years' experience in a Graphic Design and Art Direction role within a team environment at an established retail brand or agency

  • Retail experience required

  • Software excellence in Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Knowledge of Sketch and Figma

  • Online Portfolio demonstrative of stellar Art Direction, including on figure and product photo art direction, integration of image and typography, strong layout design, animation and/or other storytelling use cases

  • Strong presentations skills that effectively sell-in ideas, encourage engagement, and elevate the creative team's representation within the organization as trusted experts and collaborative partners

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to think strategically

  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously in the fast-paced retail landscape

  • Collaborative energy is key to success as a partner, leader, and integral team member in our growing Marketing Creative Department

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily

  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally

  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment

  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work location from our Dublin, California office.

The starting salary for this position is $100,900- $140,000 and may increase to $155,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
