Our Senior Art Directors are brand-championing storytellers that use their deep understanding of design, video, and photo production to craft engaging content. They are always mindful of how the final work functions and how it serves the client brief.


Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Development of compelling video and design solutions for brands and agencies
  • Definition and management of standards through documentation and work reviews
  • Collaboration with creative directors, copywriters, account teams, producers, and post-production teams to ensure the highest quality creative deliverables
  • Research trends in video, photography, animation, lighting and design
  • Clearly communicate ideas to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with partner organizations and agencies to streamline creative execution

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Takes pride in creative problem solving and champions work from ideation through final delivery
  • Has considerable experience with video
  • Enjoys mentoring junior team members
  • Jumps easily from one account to another without skipping a beat
  • Has an incredibly keen eye for detail
  • Develops a deep understanding of each clients brand
  • Works best as part of a team

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of agency or brand experience in advertising, media production, or design
  • A background in fashion, home, and/or technology
  • A deep knowledge and understanding of photo and video production
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to generate on-brand ideas that are within project scope
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and a working knowledge of Premiere and After Effects

The Role The Sr. Director Human Resources – North America will work closely with the managers of their main client group businesses to serve as the Talent business partner in the region. Specifically, he/she is expected to work with business leadership, HR colleagues and corporate teams within a matrixed organization to: * Trusted Advisor - Work closely with leadership teams to serve as a trusted advisor, partner with and provide sound counsel and guidance to business leaders. Be approachable and a trusted confidant to those across the business at all levels * Employee relations & managing performance – Identify and resolve ER issues in a timely manner and in consultation as needed with appropriate parties (legal, management etc). Track, identify trends, provide report out and opportunities for any education and pro-active approaches (training, etc) – pro-actively advise the business on themes and trends. Make and input solutions for mitigating risk and stay ahead of potential issues where possible responsible for providing coaching, counsel and guidance to business leaders at all levels on addressing performance. Address issues in a timely, seamless and consistent manner using tools and appropriate resources (coaching, documentation, performance plans, etc) with an eye on improvement – analyze and provide summaries on trends to leadership. Work with L&D and leaders on opportunities for addressing themes and putting programs in place to address. Manage issues consistent with Company policies, procedures and performance management annual programs. * Change management & Communications – partner with business & HR leadership to provide guidance and support in change management activities which could include communications, counsel on decision-making, process improvement and general support. Responsible for rolling out talent initiatives, programs and communications in the region and core solution areas. * Employee life-cycle management & operations – Serve as representative back to HR operations team to ensure all events and related transactions are effectively and efficiently initiated and supported as one central repository of reliable accurate employee data. Contribute to enhancements and promote its use and functionality as a reporting and analytical tool for decision-making. Constantly evaluate, update and make recommendations to contribute to a seamless experience for employee, manager and operations team providing overall client service excellence in support of the One Korn Ferry strategy Key Accountabilities * Policy & Procedure – effectively communicate and implement relevant HR policies and processes – work to continuously identify areas for improvement with an eye on access, scalability and growth * Culture & engagement – Drive, deliver and model and culture of collaboration, client service excellence, inclusion and in support of our Company core values – continuously identify opportunities for enhancement aligned with Company strategy. * Organizational development & Capability – help attract, retain and build top talent by partnering with relevant COEs and driving workforce planning and talent review activities to integrate, onboard, develop and retain key talent. Regularly identify opportunities for improvement * Data & Analytics – regularly track, manage and communicate overall results, trends and activity and status to business leaders and VP, Talent – Americas. * Compensation execution – provide guidance related to new hire, promotion and annual compensation review activities- ensure smooth and accurate execution of decisions per approval matrices and process in place from decision to communication including any annual compensation events (mid-year, year-end etc) and all lead supporting activities in the region * Performance management –Partner with COE resources to administer and manage annual performance management programs for the region to ensure active participation, training and compliance for all employees and manager accountability.
